In this hands-on workshop attendees will create their own living moss panel that can be hung or placed as a centerpiece indoors or outdoors. These unique verdant creations offer texturally dynamic compositions. Moss has scientifically proven to reduce oxytocin and increase serotonin, so what more could you ask for in a decorative and functional home decoration! Horticultural Therapist and landscape designer, Irene Barber will guide students on how to sustainably harvest moss, identify moss and compose their moss creations.
All materials will be provided, but attendees are welcome to bring their own panel or container if they prefer. If you have a glue gun, we would appreciate a few more to have on hand.
If you are able to pay the full amount of the course up front, we appreciate it. It helps us bring forth this work. If you are unable to afford full price, we offer “in good faith” discounts:
Full Price: $125
Adult Discount 28%: $90
Adult Discount 36%: $80
Student/Youth Discount $60.00
