A circular space for Creativity, Celebration, Wellness and Community

Celebration Yurt is available year-round for retreats, workshops, ceremonies, and events.

We offer our own wellness workshops and retreats and are open for other practitioners or organizations to rent the space on a one time basis or regularly. The yurt is also available for birthday parties, graduation parties, baby blessings and other celebrations. The yurt is next to our organic garden and tucked into our 100 acre forest which has trails and a brook.

Details

  • The yurt fits up to 30 people depending on set-up
  • Flexible for different set-ups including classes, workshops, events and meetings with mats, pillows, tables, and chairs. 
  • There is a small kitchenette with a hot plate and a tea kettle. 
  • There is an outhouse. 
  • The yurt is heated with a heat pump. 
  • We will have WiFi in the Yurt

We are excited to offer this beautiful space to the community and to create a space for healing, wellness, creativity, collaboration, visioning, connection, and celebration.

Our normal rates are $125 for 3 hours, $25 for each additional hour. $200 for 6-8 hours. Please contact us for rates for multiple day events or other special needs.

Warm, Welcoming & Functional

Celebration Yurt provided a warm, welcoming and functional space for the community discussion we helped to organize on local strategies for supporting agriculture in Durham. The yurt accommodated our group of about 20 people very comfortably, with plenty of space for seating, refreshments, and parking, and we were able to set-up a projector for an accompanying presentation – all of the meeting space ingredients needed for sharing information and having a rich discussion. Natural Magic

The yurt holds a natural magic.  How a circular floor meets crosshatched walls, the way roof struts rise to a central dome skylight fills me with a sense of awe each time I enter.  The Celebration Tree Farm yurt is this structure at its finest.  It is beautiful, elegant, an unspoken member of any gathering.  It’s a reminder of how we can all live in harmony with Nature and each other.

Loved being able to enjoy the nature

I so enjoyed renting out Celebration Tree Farm’s yurt for my birthday. There were more amenities, deco, and pillows / cushy seating, etc. than I expected, which cultivated a sweet environment for being together.  I also loved being able to enjoy the nature surrounding the property, as well as the hot tub. I very much recommend the yurt for special experiences with friends.
