The course focuses on hands-on energy healing experiences through treatments, group exercises, and meditation over three 3.5 hr sessions.

Shoden (“first teachings”) is the initial level of traditional Japanese Usui Reiki Ryoho. The course focuses on hands-on energy healing experiences through treatments, group exercises, and meditation over three 3.5 hr sessions.

 

Please Note: The course happens on 3 Saturdays January 4, 11, & 18th. When buying tickets only purchase one ticket for January 4th (you do not need to buy separate tickets for 1/11 & 1/18)

 

Key elements include:

  • History and principles of Reiki, focusing on its founder Mikao Usui
  • The five Reiki precepts (Gokai) for daily living
  • Hand positions for self-treatment and treating others
  • Meditation techniques
  • Four Reju (spiritual blessing)
  • Practice sessions for self-treatment and treating others

Upon completion, students receive a Shoden certificate and can practice Reiki on themselves, friends, and family.
